JOHANNESBURG – Very often happens that in ER come people with snake bites, swelling skin, envenomations and poisonings. The main challenge is to identify the cause and then, procede with the antidotes and medications.

Professor Andreas Engelbrecht is Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Steve Biko Hospital of Pretoria, as well as Adjunct Professor at the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pretoria, South Africa and he will participate to Africa Health Exhibition 2018, in Johannesburg.

We managed to interview him, discovering more about this important emergency-medical aspect.
